🥘 1. What makes Congo Girl Cuisine stews special?

Every stew is inspired by traditional recipes passed down from Arthington–Monrovia, Liberia (LR) to suburban Georgia. Each dish is prepared with love, generous portions, and authentic seasoning that captures the true heart of Liberian cooking.

🍚 2. Why are stews sold without rice?

Our stews are sold as stews only so every guest can enjoy them their way — whether over rice or fufu. We recognize everyone has their own favorite type of rice — parboiled, basmati, jasmine, broken, and more.
Parboiled rice can easily be added to your order for a small additional fee.

🍗 3. Can I choose my proteins?

Congo Girl Cuisine hand-dishes each stew with premium proteins for full, balanced flavor.
To maintain authenticity, we do not accommodate requests for specific protein portions or substitutions.

🚫 4. Do you cook with pork or goat?

No. We proudly do not cook with pork or goat products.

⚠️ 5. Do your stews contain seafood?

All Congo Girl Cuisine stews are prepared with fish and/or shellfish-based seasoning.
If you have a fish or shellfish allergy, please refrain from consuming.

📦 6. How are orders packaged?

Stews are sealed for freshness and portioned generously. Combination Platters are plated as full meals. Add-on sides such as rice, fufu, or plantains are packaged separately for convenience.

⏰ 7. How far in advance should I place my order?

Preorders open every Wednesday at 12:00 PM and close once batch quantities sell out or by Friday at 12:00 PM, whichever comes first.
We recommend placing your order as soon as preorders open to guarantee availability.

💛 8. Do you offer catering or bulk orders?

Not at this time.

🚗 9. How does pickup work?

Once your order is ready, you’ll receive a text message with pickup details.
Orders are packed neatly, labeled clearly, and ready for quick pickup on Saturday.
The pickup window will be included in your order confirmation.
Pickup locations are based in Lawrenceville, GA &. Alternative Pickup Locations will be determined by Customer base & orders. Confirmed via order confirmation.

🚙 10. Do you offer delivery?

Yes! Congo Girl Cuisine offers Local Delivery to customers within 30 miles of Lawrenceville (30044) or Stockbridge (30281) for a flat fee of $20.00.
A minimum order of $52 is required for delivery.
Simply select “Local Delivery – $20 flat fee” at checkout if your address is within range — Shopify will automatically make the option available.
Customers outside this area will see Pickup as their only option.
